Welcome message
We at bio you, started our NPO activities in April 2025, focused in the Setagaya Ward.
In this age of diversity, we provide career consultation and advice to local young people, middle-aged and elderly people, and foreigners. We also provide English conversation and intercultural exchange events to promote international learning and sharing.
We aim to support your daily life to make it more enjoyable and fulfilling, and through these activities we hope to provide an inviting community space.

With many years of experience working in both Tokyo and California, I have learned flexible ways of thinking, different cultures, and differences in working styles and values between Japan and the U.S, and I have grown every day.
Through these experiences, I decided to become a career consultant in the hope that I could be of some help to people in various ways.
Our desire is to create the sense of a "small neighborhood clinic" where everyone will feel comfortable dropping in and then leave feeling a little better.
We are open to both Japanese and foreigners.

I was born and raised in Southern California, with an American father and a Japanese mother.
I graduated with a degree in Japanese Studies from university, then moved to Japan and worked for a Japanese company in Tokyo. Over the years, I have experienced the similarities and differences between American and Japanese cultures and customs, and have developed an open-minded approach to different cultures.
Since moving to Japan, I have had some trouble with the language barrier, but at the same time, I have become very interested in language and communication. I believe that being able to communicate with different people in different languages is one of the joys of life, so I decided to hold English conversation and intercultural exchange events to provide a friendly, fun, and relaxed place for communication.
